175 ANS DE TIRLEMONT

Joseph Vandenberghe de Binckom and Pierre Van den Bossche founders of the Tirlemontois sugar, which is now celebrating 175 years of success. The company's annual production increased from 7 000 tons in 1894 to 826 000 tons today. Such an expansion is a well diserved success for this institution. Tirlemont quickly became the leader of the European sugar industry. An animation film retracing the fascinating history of the company was inspired from its iconography and archives.
